Hi,
I've use crawl track for one year now and just recently have found a big problem between visitors month and year reporting.
For example:-
I've look at june and see 509 visits listed for june
when i go to the year. the june figure is now 40 visitors short. any reason for this?
sorry use visits not visitors
Could be the cross boundary ie pre midnight moving in or out of a month.
Crawl track version I'm running is Crawltrack 3.1.2
I'd be grateful for any help on this matter as I need to sort this out ASAP.

Yes, but that's normal, it's related to the calculation mode.
In the case of the month, the calculation is done day by day and the sum gives the result for the month.
In the case of the year the calculation is done directly on the month.
So that for example a visitor who begins his visit D-Day at 23:50 and ends on day D +1 to 0:02 give two visits in one case and in the other one visit. Same principle for the visitors. These notions of visits and unique visitors are dependent on time.
To keep the equivalent figures in all cases we should had always used the same method of calculation. That daily calculation and addition off each day value, what is possible for a month but become unmanageable over a year (processing time) and as explained above would not be fair. Life is full of compromises ...
Hope this answer your question,
Regards,
Jean-Denis
