Re: Login/Password

Thanks but I solved the problem.  CHMOD all folders to 777 individually solved my problem. Then after login ran Crawprotect to secure.

Re: Login/Password

hi
I've got the same problem. I just can't log into admin panel. When I log into mysql I can see that crawls are identified and saved in it.

Re: Login/Password

Hi,

You can do that:
With phpMyAdmin go in the crawlt_login table, you should see your login and in the password field a code  made of several letters and numbers (if there is no login, create one)

Replace the password code with:
5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99

Then you should be able to login by using:password as your new password.
Once log in, change your password, that one is not safe.

Re: Login/Password

i solved it, There is some problem with domain config on my hosting.
When I tried log in with ww.mydomain.com redirected to folder it failed, but I can access admin panel on ww.myhosting.com/mydomain/
but now I can see that nothing is saved to my sql base and visits aren't registered.

By the way I could make translation to polish if needed.

N.

I also noticed that if I want to delete a website I get: "A problem occured during website deletion, try again." but the site is deleted from the base.

Strange issues, how is rediected your domain name?

By the way, any new translation is welcome, so if you can do the polish one I willl be very pleased to add it to Crawltrack.

Re: Login/Password

same problem for me.

Server version: Apache/2.2.15
PHP 5.3.2
CT v3.2.1

anything mentioned above didn't help. I'm stuck with the login page. giving an invalid login or a valid login, everything ends up in the initial login screen without any comment.

any ideas?
I try to trace this down, but probably someone out there has seen this problem also and has a solution.

btw. can someone explain the chmod 705 that is done by the setup? I think this is a typo. why should the group have NO rights, but 'ALLothers' have rx???

thx

edit:
problem solved: had wrong permissions for "session.save_path"

Re: Login/Password

Tried everything described in this post so far:
CHMOD 777 all individual folders,
remove configconnect.php and restart installation,
change the password of the administrator to 'password' (5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99),...

I simply can't login and add extra domains,....

I use version 3.2.9. My concrete questions are:

Is there a list of CHMOD settings for all files and folders?

The CHMOD 777 is only for the root folder of the application and /include (to create configconnect.php) ?

What are the optimal settings after installation? (CHMOD 755 for folders 644 for files?)

How can I logon after installation (to add domains,...)?

What can be a possible cause for the login to fail?

Where do I start?

P.S.:

I had the same problems with previous versions 3.2.8 and 3.2.7

Tested to fetch with Googlebot and it's added to the database (crawler 281)

Re: Login/Password

None of these solutions worked for me either.

So I deleted the Database and the Crawl Track folder and removed the include from my php source - and I'm done with it forever.  I also deleted my recommendation of the Service to my fellow webmasters.

Sorry it suddenly became useless to me but I could never log in again .....

Re: Login/Password

Hi,

Until now I'm unable to create the same issue on my plateform.
If somebody with the issue is able to give me an ftp access, I will be able to have a deep look to understand the issue and so give solution.
