Open crawled pages in new browser window

Hi there,

I always used the right mouse button to open the crawled pages in a new browser window.

Now I modified two pages, making my CrawlTrack life much easier:

/include/display-one-crawler.php
[line 599]
echo"<tr><td class='tableau3g'>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='index.php?navig=4&amp;period=".$period."&amp;site=".$site."&amp;crawler=".$page1encode."'>".$page1display."</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='http://".$urlsite[$site].$page2."' target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"./images/page_ext.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" ></a></td>\n";

[line 613]
echo"<tr><td class='tableau30g'>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='index.php?navig=4&amp;period=".$period."&amp;site=".$site."&amp;crawler=".$page1encode."'>".$page1display."</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='http://".$urlsite[$site].$page2."' target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"./images/page_ext.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" ></a></td>\n";

/include/display-all-pages.php
[line 547]
echo"<tr><td class='tableau3g'>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='index.php?navig=4&amp;period=".$period."&amp;site=".$site."&amp;crawler=".$crawlencode."'>".$crawldisplay."</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='http://".$urlsite[$site].$crawl2."' target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"./images/page_ext.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" ></a></td>\n";

[line 562]
echo"<tr><td class='tableau30g'>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='index.php?navig=4&amp;period=".$period."&amp;site=".$site."&amp;crawler=".$crawlencode."'>".$crawldisplay."</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href='http://".$urlsite[$site].$crawl2."' target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"./images/page_ext.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" border=\"0\" ></a></td>\n";

As you can see above, I simply added ' target=\"_blank\" ' and modified the image tag to page_ext.png. You must modify the image file, as well.
For example you can change it like: http://www.rewerb.com/ct/images/page_ext.png

Click on the new "external link" and your spidered page opens up in a new browser window.

Hope you find this modification useful.

Cheers,
Thorsten

Re: Open crawled pages in new browser window

Hi,

Thank you for your modification proposal, I will not include it like that in CrawlTrack as I prefer to leave the choice to the user to open the page in a new window or not.

But as for a next release I'm thinking of some display parameters that could be set-up by the user in the tools page,  I will add the possibility to choose between the two options.

Cheers,
