Hi - can someone point me to UPGRADING instructions (in English)?
I'm running 2.3 but want to upgrade to the latest version.

Just upgraded to 3.12. Now I cannot log in to admin

Forbidden : You don't have permission to access /crawltrack on this server.

I see other people may have had this problem but the posts are NOT in English.

Please advise how to get back into Admin

Hello,

Try with your ftp transfer soft to change the right (chmod 705 should be ok)) and/or owner of the crawltrack folder.

It always was 705 - now after upgrading, I get the forbidden error. Why?

Hi,

In the french forum a guy had a similar issue and he solve it by renaming the Crawltrack folder like that:

1) erase your actual Crawltrack folder
2)create a new folder
3)upload CrawlTrack files in that new folder
4)restart installation but stop it once you get the message that table and connecting file are OK (the existing tables and datas won't be lost)
5)change the tag on your pages

Hope this will solve the issue for you too.

Still NOT working - 403 Forbidden. My last version ran great, but now I overwrote it with this and I cannot access admin. Please provide a solution.

Hi,

It's clearly an issue with chmod level or owner of the directory.
If you try a chmod 755 or 777 (I know it's not safe but it's just the time needed to try) what is the result?

Finally have it working. Problem was since I couldn't get passed the forbidden error initially, the adminstrator
was not set up so I could not log in.

I had to reinstall, but set ALL permissions on the directories to 755. IT appears my host
will not allow 705. I hope this is not a security issue.
