ip blocking failing

I am running Crawlprotect 3.0.0.  My current .htaccess file contains the following:

#----------------------------------------------------------------------
#Block bad IP
#----------------------------------------------------------------------
order allow,deny
deny from  176.8.88.179,176.212.36.254,37.112.235.1,176.212.19.130,92.255.226.224
allow from all
#----------------------------------------------------------------------

The first bad IP (176.8.88.179)  was set over 2 weeks ago, since then that same IP was allowed in and registered on my site.

Re: ip blocking failing

Hi,

Your htaccess is strange as normaly the htaccess created by CrawlProtect should be like that:

#----------------------------------------------------------------------
#Block bad IP
#----------------------------------------------------------------------
order allow,deny
deny from  176.8.88.179 176.212.36.254 37.112.235.1 176.212.19.130 92.255.226.224
allow from all
#----------------------------------------------------------------------

So whitout coma between IP.
Is it CrawlProtect who have add the coma or did you manually add IP?

Re: ip blocking failing

Yes I added the comma's, thought that was right.  Will change to blanks.
