Crawlprotect blocks my server IP..

Hi.

I recently start using CrawlProtect on my website.
One of the things I noticed is that the script blocks and records in the database my server ip.
The recorded reason for that is "User-Agent: Wget/1.11.4 (Red Hat modified)".

I tried adding an exception in .htaccess for the server IP with the following line:
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} !^xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
...where the 'x's represent the IP.

That didn't work.
Any ideas??????

Re: Crawlprotect blocks my server IP..

Hi,

The best thing is to choose in the admin to never block your own IP.
Then once the htaccess is created, just replace your IP each time it appear (4 times) in the file with your server IP and it should work.

I know it's not simple, the option to choose the IP will be proposed in the next release.
