Crawl Protect and subdomains

Here's my question.  Suppose I have a main site called test-site [dot] com, with crawl protect on it.  Suppose this runs a Wordpress installation.  Now I have Crawl Protect running in an .htaccess file.

Then I create a directory called Joomla and run a sub-domain called joomla [dot] test-site [dot] com, which also has an .htaccess file.  Will Crawl Protect protect from bad bods visiting the Joomla site?  Or do I need to clone Crawl Protect in the Joomla .htaccess file?

Re: Crawl Protect and subdomains

Hi,

That depend of your folders strutures and htaccess.
The best is to test by simulating an attack on your Joomla subdomain site, you will see if you are blocked or not.
