Odd behaviour

Hi all,

I have noticed a few oddites since upgrading to the latest CrawlProtect.

If i use Firefox, everything appears as normal except when i hit the change cmod link. The page loads but the moment i try to scroll down the page, the whole page freezes and will not budge.

If i use internet explorer 8, everything appears as normal but the admin, logout and other links just display as a small image without any text. The links appear to work but are very small. The page does not freeze if i change to the chmod menu like FF.

Using both browsers, if an attack has been logged, neither browser shows the ip of the attacker. The box just remains blank but the text above does show how many and where from.

This is running on XP x64.

Any ideas to the above problems.

Regards

Nick

Re: Odd behaviour

Hi,

Just to have an idea, how many folders and files did you have?

Regarding IE8, I have install it to try (usually I work with Firefox under Ubuntu) and I didn't get the issue you speak about. Have you try to refresh the cache of your borwser?

Re: Odd behaviour

Hi Jean-Denis,

Folders and files = CrawlProtect check 1,714 folders and 1,476 files.

I have just tried Firefox in Sabayon and i do not get the same issue, the page does not freeze but in Windows it does, odd.

But the attacker's IP does not show up at all whether on linux or windows, for either browser.

Yes i have refreshed the cache for both browswers.

Not sure what the issue is, maybe windows?

Thanks.

Regards
